Job Opportunity

Aberystwyth University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Teacher of Chinese to join our Lifelong Learning team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to adult learners.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching Chinese language and culture, with experience in planning and delivering lessons to adult learners. You will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to promote and market our courses, as well as to contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching Chinese language and culture to adult learners
  • Developing and delivering lesson plans and materials
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback
  • Participating in marketing and promotional activities to attract new students
  • Contributing to the development of new programs and initiatives

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about teaching and learning, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
