Chinese Language Instructor

Aberystwyth University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Teacher of Chinese Language and Culture to join our Lifelong Learning team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chinese language and culture courses to adult learners, promoting the program, and assessing student progress.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Chinese language and culture, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Chinese language and culture courses to adult learners
- Promote the program through various marketing activities and events
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Develop and implement curriculum materials
- Participate in staff training and professional development
- Contribute to the development of the Lifelong Learning program
Requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent in Chinese language and culture or a related field
- Teaching experience in Chinese language and culture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to use IT with confidence
