Prospero Teaching is collaborating with a successful primary school in Manchester to find an experienced SEN specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in the EYFS age group with additional needs.

The role involves supporting individuals with learning, play and communication activities in EYFS, as well as delivering interventions to groups of children with autism.

To be suitable for this position, you should have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and expectations. You must also have knowledge and experience of delivering intervention programs and supporting children with special educational needs. A caring and compassionate nature is essential.

This part-time SEN support specialist position is required from December onwards. Daily pay ranges between £50 and £60, depending on your level of experience.

Key requirements:

  • A valid UK right to work
  • An enhanced DBS certificate
  • SEN or teaching assistant qualification and relevant experience
  • Professional references covering the last two years
  • Experience working in a UK primary school
  • Experience as an SEN support specialist, particularly with children who have autism

Estimated salary range: £26,000 - £31,200 per annum (pro-rata)
