Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary Role
We are seeking a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to support young learners with Special Educational Needs in a primary school setting.
The successful candidate will have a 2:1 degree in a relevant field, such as Psychology, and a passion for inclusive education.
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to adapt activities to suit each child's unique learning journey, focusing on positive interventions that support their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, helping them gain confidence and improve language, social, and academic skills
- Collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists to design engaging and adaptable lesson activities
- Help to identify learning triggers and effective interventions for students awaiting SEN diagnosis
