Behaviour Specialists for SEN Schools

GSL Education is currently recruiting dedicated professionals to support young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in South Manchester.
We are seeking individuals with experience as Youth Workers, SEN Teaching Assistants, or Psychology graduates to work closely with numerous Primary, Secondary, and SEN schools in Greater Manchester.
The available roles involve providing academic assistance in Maths, English, and Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, while maintaining a calm and supportive environment.
- Supporting SEMH Needs: Collaborate with students experiencing SEMH challenges, ensuring their well-being and safety.
- Behaviour Management: Confidently handle and de-escalate challenging behaviour, promoting a positive learning environment.
- Curriculum Support: Provide additional support to students in mainstream classrooms, alternative provisions, or one-to-one settings.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in secondary schools, with a background in SEMH support or Youth Work.
- DBS on Update Service: A valid DBS registered on the update service is essential.
- Safeguarding Knowledge: Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Immediate Start: Immediate start available for the right candidate, with a long-term, full-time contract offering stability and security.
This role requires a commitment to quality and safeguarding, with a salary range of $24,907 - £40,322 per annum.
