About the role

As a Housing Officer, you will deliver a responsive and customer-focused service to those affiliated with the local authority.

You will act as a Visiting Officer dealing with tenancy issues and low-level matters of ASB, ensuring all Housing Schemes are administered appropriately and within legislative requirements.

Key responsibilities

  1. Providing expert advice in regard to the housing registration process to a range of stakeholders.
  2. Conducting investigations and ensuring decisions are made in compliance with relevant service policies and legislation.
  3. Helping to ensure nomination agreements are being administered in full accordance with the terms agreed.

Requirements

You will need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, a background in Social Housing, and knowledge of Legislation and Part 6 and 7 of the Housing Act.

What you'll get in return

This role offers a pay rate of £13.20 per hour + holiday allowance, which takes the overall hourly accrual to £14.79 per hour.
