Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our team at HMP Lowdham. As a Senior Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Working in a dynamic and supportive environment, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in offender health and make a real difference to the lives of our patients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing, with experience of working with individuals with complex needs. You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality care and a passion for working in offender health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health needs
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver effective care
  • Developing and implementing individual care plans
  • Providing supervision and support to junior staff

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with NMC registration
  • Experience of working in offender health or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
