Youth Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Youth Support Specialist to join our team at Brook Street.

In this role, you will work closely with 16-24 year olds in a housing support and resettlement service, providing guidance and support to help them build confidence and reach their goals.

We offer an excellent salary of £27,000 - £33,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits including EAP programme, healthcare plan, 28 days annual leave, counselling services and excellent training and induction plan.

About the Role:
  • As a key worker, you will be responsible for supporting a case load of young people, helping them develop independent living skills and access education, employment and services.
  • You will provide guidance and support to help young people build confidence and reach their goals.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with young people, mental health, learning disabilities and autism.
  • A strong understanding of trauma and its impact on individuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
