Cardiology Research Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated nurse to join our Cardiology Research team at the Bristol Heart Institute. As a Cardiology Research Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting a portfolio of non-complex clinical trials and delivering treatment in Cardiology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Approach patients to participate in studies and manage and assist the team with practical assessments as part of research studies.
  • Complete all administrative duties associated with these assessments, including entering results onto computer-based data collection portals.
  • Work closely with members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure patient safety and accurate and comprehensive data collection.
  • Ensure that research is undertaken within research governance and good clinical practice (GCP) guidelines and safeguards the wellbeing of participants.
Requirements:
  • Experience in cardiovascular disease and/or an acute care setting will be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills (both written and verbal), as well as meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work shifts, including occasional evenings and some weekends.
