About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiology Research Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of cardiology research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to referrals from the multidisciplinary team to provide support for children and young people through play preparation and play programmes.
  • Implement safe, high-quality play programmes covering all aspects of hospital play provision, meeting patients' emotional, social, developmental, and creative needs.
  • Supervise play assistants, students, and volunteers throughout the hospital.
  • Collaborate with the Play Team to develop and implement play programmes that meet the needs of patients and their families.
