Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Wedding List Advisor to join our team at The Wedding Present Company. As a key member of our showroom team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional and personalized service to our clients as they build their dream wedding gift lists.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading brand in the wedding industry, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service to clients during private appointments, offering bespoke advice and guidance on creating their perfect wedding gift list.
  • Work closely with the showroom team to contact registrations, respond to customer queries, and maintain a high level of service via email and phone.
  • Converting enquiries into registrations and proactively following up with customers to encourage products to be added to lists and driving appointments to our showrooms.
  • Develop in-depth product knowledge and expert people skills to guide couples through our extensive brand offering, helping them create the perfect wedding gift list.
  • Update couple's details and chosen gift ideas on our system following meetings and keep in touch with our couples throughout their wedding journey to be on hand with advice and guidance at all stages.
  • Assist with maintaining standards and re-merchandising the showroom based on current trends.
Requirements
  • A client-facing background is highly desirable, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where no day is the same.
  • A passion for homewares or interiors would be advantageous, and the ability to learn and develop in a dynamic environment.
