About the Role
The Wedding Present Company, part of The Cambium Group, is seeking a skilled Wedding List Advisor to join our showroom team. As a Wedding List Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional and personalized service to our customers as they build their dream wedding gift lists.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who is keen to grow and develop within a customer-facing environment. The successful candidate will be well-presented and articulate, with the confidence to build meaningful relationships and offer a highly bespoke, luxury service tailored to each of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Working as part of a team to contact registrations, respond to customer queries, and maintain a high level of service via email and phone.
- Advising couples during private appointments about our bespoke service.
- Converting enquiries into registrations.
- Proactively following up with customers after registrations to encourage products to be added to lists and driving appointments to our showrooms.
- Ability to learn in-depth product knowledge and expert people skills to guide couples through our extensive brand offering, helping them create the perfect wedding gift list.
- Update couple's details and chosen gift ideas on our system following meetings.
- Keeping in touch with our couples throughout their wedding journey to be on hand with advice and guidance at all stages.
- Assisting with maintaining standards and re-merchandising the showroom based on current trends.
- Always having The Wedding Present Company ethos and Principles in mind, understanding your responsibility as a brand ambassador and always using our tone of voice when communicating with clients.
Requirements
Skills and Experience
- A client-facing background is highly desirable.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- A pro-active team player with willingness to help out where needed.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where no day is the same.
- A passion for homewares or interiors would be advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication over the phone/email and in person.
