We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Leisure Operations to lead our Activities & Leisure team.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our leadership team as a Senior Director of Leisure Operations. As Head of Activities & Leisure, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional experience for all guests, ensuring every visit to our park is memorable and enjoyable.
Salary
The salary for this role is competitive and negotiable based on experience, with a potential annual bonus of up to 25%. In addition to a generous salary, we offer a range of benefits, including free use of our leisure facilities, discounts on food and retail purchases, and access to training and development opportunities.
Job Description
As a Senior Director of Leisure Operations, you will be responsible for leading a large team to deliver an activities, entertainment, and retail experience that exceeds guest expectations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing visionary leadership to the Activities & Leisure team, setting clear goals and expectations, and motivating the team to achieve outstanding results.
- Ensuring every guest has a great time with memories that last a lifetime, by interacting with guests, building trusted relationships, and addressing their needs and concerns.
- Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve departmental and organizational objectives, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Recruiting, training, mentoring, and evaluating the team's performance, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development.
- Continuously assessing departmental performance and implementing improvements, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships, identify opportunities for growth, and ensure guest satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience at a senior level within an activities and leisure industry, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop your team.
- Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving departmental and organizational goals.
- Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Budgeting and financial management experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident decision maker with ability to exercise sound judgment and manage conflicting priorities when under pressure.
