Internal Audit Director

We are seeking an accomplished Audit Manager to lead our internal audit function at a leading Building Society. As a key professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of risk-themed audits, as well as developing internal audit capabilities.
The successful candidate will have a solid background in financial services and exceptional communication skills, with a salary estimated at £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
- Own and manage audit assignments within agreed budgets and timescales
- Peer review risk-themed audits and provide guidance to colleagues
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and other assurance functions
