At Peridot Partners, we are seeking a highly motivated Charity Income Director to lead our client Oak Tree Animals' Charity in Carlisle, Cumbria.

Our mission is to improve animal welfare by providing non-judgmental and compassionate care to animals and their owners. We strive to make a positive impact on the community through our community programs, advocacy, and rehoming services.

We provide holistic support and care for animals and their owners, aiming to find long-term solutions that avoid rehoming. When unavoidable, we offer a safe home for animals, rehabilitating and preparing them for their next stage in life.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is between £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading both the retail and fundraising functions, ensuring an integrated approach that utilizes data, networking, and relationship management to identify and seize opportunities. They will strategically review current fundraising programs, assessing areas of strength and identifying potential improvements.

The role requires building relationships with external and internal stakeholders, deepening support among public and private networks, and increasing donations. A strong understanding of income generation in the charity sector is essential, as well as a passion for animals and people. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, positive, and creative, with an entrepreneurial mindset and tenacity to create and seize opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in income generation in the charity sector is required. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and develop relationships with diverse stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is also necessary.
