Job Title: Specialist Mental Health Personal Advisor

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Mental Health Personal Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work full-time in Richmond & Wandsworth, providing exceptional support to Care Experienced young people.

Job Summary:

The Specialist Mental Health Personal Advisor will be responsible for providing assessments, reports, and interventions to strengthen and support the Mental Health and wellbeing of Care Experienced young people within the Borough. The ideal candidate will have a Social Work Qualification or equivalent and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with Care Coordinators and Social Workers to provide assessments and reports for young people.
  2. Develop and implement Pathway Planning, assessments, tasks, and interventions to support Mental Health and wellbeing.
  3. Act as a Lead Practitioner for Mental Health, disseminating good practice and engaging in Team Meetings.
  4. Establish and develop collaborative working with allied health and social care practitioners.
  5. Participate in professional supervision and annual appraisal review.
  6. Participate in clinical supervision and clinical risk assessing.
  7. Build professional credibility within the multi-professional partnership.
  8. Actively contribute to team working and support colleagues.
  9. Consider and put forward ideas for improving Council Services.
  10. Understand Council's duties and responsibilities for safeguarding children, young people, and adults.
Requirements:
  1. A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
