Job Title: Clinical Psychologist Position

The Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with children, young people, and their families in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our service provides specialist assessments and clinical interventions, contributing to the broader aims of the service through joint working and consultation as required.

About the Job:
This position involves providing assessment and therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based therapeutic models. You will work closely with children, young people, and their families/carers to communicate effectively and liaise regarding their psychological care. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assessment and therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based therapeutic models to children, young people, and their families/carers.
• Communicate effectively and liaise with children, young people, their families/carers regarding their psychological care in the service.
• Contribute to the broader aims of the service through joint working and consultation as required.

Requirements:
• NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse, Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW), Diploma in Social Work (DipSW), MA Social Work, or BA/BSc Hons Social Work, BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy, MSc Occupational Therapy, or Diploma of the College of Occupational Therapists (DipCOT) or other relevant core profession.
• Experience of providing specialist therapeutic assessment and treatment of children, young people, and their parents or carers in Children's Psychological Services or Specialist CAMHS or similar specialist therapeutic service.
• Knowledge of the theory and practice of their specialist therapeutic interventions in specific difficult-to-treat client groups.

Working with Us:
We are part of CYPPS and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) across LSCFT and have close links with our local Psychiatry Service in East Lancashire (East Lancashire Child and Adolescent Service). The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria, and Sefton area.

Salary Information:
This role comes with an estimated salary of £38,880 - £44,063 per annum, depending on experience. We encourage applications from suitably qualified clinicians who are committed to providing high-quality care to children, young people, and their families.
