Specialist Therapist Role

Responsibilities:
• Conduct specialist assessments and develop therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of each child, young person, and family.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a holistic approach to care, ensuring effective communication and coordination with other services.
• Participate in joint working and consultation to inform service development and improvement initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
• Relevant professional qualifications, such as a degree in psychology, nursing, or a related field.
• Significant experience in providing specialist therapeutic assessments and interventions for children, young people, and their families in a CAMHS setting or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of current theories and practices in specialist therapeutic approaches for complex client groups.
