Play and Development Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Sessional Playworker.
The estimated salary for this role is £73 per hour, based on national averages for similar positions in the London area.

The Role
As a Sessional Playworker, you will play a vital role in helping us deliver a range of activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Supporting the planning and delivery of sports, games, arts and crafts, and other activities
- Acting as a key worker to assigned children or families
- Providing personal care and assistance as needed
- Transporting children to activities and ensuring their safety
You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with our service users and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience of working with children and young people who have learning disabilities, autism, or complex health needs.
Previous experience in moving and handling training or paediatric first aid would be beneficial, but not essential.
We offer comprehensive training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge required for this role.
Key Requirements:
An enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
