About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team as an Autism Support Specialist in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Gloucestershire. As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting students with Autism to achieve their individual developmental targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with Autism.
  • Provide targeted support to students, helping them progress towards their individual goals.
  • Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging resources and activities.
  • Lead whole-class sessions when requested.

Essential Criteria/Skills:

  • HLTA qualification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Previous experience working with children with Autism.

Salary and Benefits:

£25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as free specialist training and a recommendation bonus scheme.
