Chief Financial Officer

Cobb & Jones Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to join their team. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the finance function and driving commercial improvements.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the finance team, providing coaching, development, and reviewing structure to ensure business growth
- Prepare and deliver financial reporting to the Board and communicate effectively with senior management teams
- Develop and implement financial planning and analysis processes, including budgets, forecasts, and long-term models
- Support commercial strategy through cost assessments, projections, and analysis
- Provide financial insights and strategic support for medium and long-term planning
- Manage company cash flow and relationships with banks
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and manage the external annual audit process
- Oversee company tax affairs
- Formal qualifications in accounting (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as Finance Director, Head of Finance, or Financial Controller
- Experience in a multi-site or multi-service environment is desirable
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and a proven track record of success
- Strong team management skills, mentoring, and development of staff
- Up to £100k basic salary
