Chief Financial Officer

Cobb & Jones is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join their team. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the finance function and driving commercial improvements across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Management: Lead and manage a small finance team, providing coaching, development, and guidance to ensure the team is equipped to meet the organization's financial needs.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver all relevant financial reporting to the Board and senior management teams, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to inform business decisions.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead on all FP&A processes, including annual and monthly budgets, forecasts, and longer-term models, to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Commercial Strategy: Support the development of commercial strategy through cost assessments and projections, and provide financial insights to inform business growth initiatives.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee and manage company cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity and minimizing financial risk.
- Compliance: Ensure all relevant compliance requirements are met, including statutory obligations and external audit processes.
- Qualifications: Formally qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a finance director or head of finance position.
- Skills: Excellent stakeholder management skills, proven track record of success, and strong team management skills.
- Competitive Salary: Up to £100k basic salary.
