Job Summary:

Service Care Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Phlebotomist/Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients and supporting the clinical team in delivering excellent healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform phlebotomy on patients following standard operating procedures for obtaining blood.
  • Demonstrate competence with the computer system and handle patient data, ensuring information is accurate and secure.
  • Summon assistance in the event of an adverse reaction or fainting episode during phlebotomy sessions.
  • Administer IM injections and flu vaccinations, if appropriately trained.
  • Deliver opportunistic health promotion where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Vaccine administering qualification
  • Phlebotomy qualification
  • GCSEs grade A to C in English and Maths

Desirable Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification

Experience:

  • Experience of working in a GP practice
  • Experience as a Health Care Assistant
  • Experience of working within the NHS or Primary Care

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with EMIS
