Medical Emergency Care Specialist

At Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, we strive to provide exceptional patient care in a unique and dynamic environment. As a Medical Emergency Care Specialist, you will join our team at Stepping Hill Hospital, working within the Medical Same Day Emergency Care Unit.
This role requires a registered practitioner with experience in adult care, proficient in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care. You will work alongside both registered and unregistered staff, collaborating to deliver high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and demonstrate a positive approach to change. A motivated individual with excellent time management skills and attention to detail is required.
In this role, you will assist with patient admission and discharge processes, engage with patients, relatives, and carers to seek their views and keep them informed about treatment and care. You will also maintain registration, nursing competencies, and comply with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £41,500 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as flexible working arrangements, occupational health clearance, and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
