Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Finance FP&A team. The successful candidate will support the team and collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and enable informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed financial analysis across various areas, including costs, variances, and profit.
  • Maintain financial models and forecast revenues, expenses, and other metrics.
  • Support Sales, Marketing, and Ops departments with financial guidance.
  • Analyze product margins, stock, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Evaluate the viability of new ideas, CAPEX investments, and projects.
  • Maintain processes with the IT team to ensure best practice and optimize efficiency.
  • Support the implementation and development of new systems and tools.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting as required.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Finance Analyst, 1-2 years plus in the role or highly experienced.
  • CIMA/ACCA early stage or part-qualified and looking to progress studies.
  • Intermediate level of competency with Microsoft Excel and the Office package.
  • Experience using Qlik Sense and Power Query beneficial.
  • Solid knowledge of Finance team workings, including best practice and working to deadlines.
  • Common sense approach to problem-solving.
  • Enthusiastic attitude to resolving issues.
  • Ability to clearly express issues and proposed solutions.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
What We Offer

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience and qualification. 12% profit-based bonus scheme.

Hybrid role: 2 days in the office with flexibility on working hours and location. 5% pension, great location with excellent transport links.
