Purchase Ledger Support Specialist

Job Overview:
SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant on a permanent basis. This is a full-time, hybrid role working on the outskirts of North Nottingham, with close links to both Mansfield and Newark alike.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt, coding, and authorisation of all purchase invoices
- Process invoices against our in-house order system
- Meet monthly deadlines for processing purchase invoices to Sage
- Enter recharges to client service charge accounts
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in supplier statements
- Analyse site petty cash returns and update journal entries
- Ensure accurate council tax billing for each building
- Process supplier payments from approved schedules
- Purchase goods and services for Head Office
- Co-ordinate utility billings with our broker
- Process supplier payments by various methods
- Contribute to telephone answering duties
- Perform other administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You must also be proficient in using accounting software, such as Sage.
Salary:
The salary for this role is approximately £26,500 per annum, based on national averages for similar positions in the UK.
