Job Title: Costello's Brand Ambassador

The Costello's Brand Ambassador is a key role that requires exceptional service skills, product knowledge, and communication abilities. As a representative of Costello's Ace Hardware, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences, driving sales, and promoting our brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute Same Day Service (SDS) events, in-store training, and off-site service events to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales.
  • Run SDS Events in various Costello's locations, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Upgrade and add-on sales while working with customers, utilizing your product knowledge to meet their needs.
  • Complete in-store services during SDS event downtime, maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Stay aware of all current promotions and sales throughout the company, ensuring you can effectively communicate them to customers.
  • Complete a store checklist to ensure assigned stores have the necessary tools and resources to perform all services and functions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and in-store trainer for staff, educating them on all services and products.
  • Facilitate Dot com business, service signage, KIBO accuracy, promote TSP awareness, and TSP signage.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the B2B Reignite Program.
  • Represent the company in a positive manner at all times, ensuring a professional image.
  • Be 'customer ready' whenever on the sales floor or at events, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Be alert for possible merchandise losses, protecting company assets and reporting any missing or damaged merchandise to your supervisor.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Managing Partners and members of management.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of all Company products and services, including product equipment functionality and pricing.
  • Thoroughly understand and be proficient in relevant applications, systems, and databases utilized by the Costello's organization.
  • Follow all company guidelines and processes.
  • Attend and participate in sales events and meetings.
  • Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecasts of activity in pursuit of department goals.
  • Make cold calls to customers and prospects, reaching out to B2B prospects and customers.
  • Present and demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective buyers.
  • Develop individual strategies that drive revenue.
  • Build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience.
  • Keep Management informed on key issues affecting performance.
  • Address customer complaints and negotiations through to resolution.
  • Work with in-store staff and management to cultivate a cohesive culture.
  • Deliver product when necessary.
  • Attend networking events on Company's behalf.
  • Participate in special projects and perform such other duties as management may, from time to time, deem necessary.
  • Uphold cleanliness standards in vehicles and work areas, completing weekly equipment maintenance checklists.
  • Inform your supervisor of any issues with company vehicles or equipment when they arise, as well as report vehicle defects, accidents, and traffic violations.
  • Maintain a safe and competent driving record, as demonstrated on your state Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Operate Company vehicles in a safe manner, complying with all applicable motor vehicle and traffic laws, and refrain from using a cellphone while driving.
  • Participate in all company safety trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
