Job Title: Community Communications Officer

Severn Trent is seeking a highly skilled Community Communications Officer to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for managing customer and stakeholder communications, comms channels, and day-to-day customer engagement within Mansfield.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder and customer management planning with Severn Trent project teams and contractors
  • Ownership of the Customer Management Plan
  • All stakeholder and customer comms (excluding Traffic Management)
  • All customer comms channels – including letters, webpages, press releases, community engagement, public exhibitions, hyperlocal marketing and social media and internal comms
  • Provide regular updates to project teams, local County Comms Group and the wider Comms teams
  • Be subject matter expert in one or more counties within the Severn Trent region
  • Management of customer complaint process and end of scheme customer feedback process
  • Management of Severn Trent's brand and reputation, helping to ensure a single brand strategy is used throughout the customer journey of our planned work programme of Mansfield
Requirements:
  • Demonstratable communications and stakeholder experience
  • Previous experience of managing customer communication channels
  • Strong influencing and customer management skills
  • Customer-centric thinking and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Full UK Driving License and the ability and willingness to travel across our region on a regular basis if needed
