About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Team Leader to join our Children's Residential Team. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and care to each young person, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Encourage and support young people in their daily routines, including getting ready for education and activities.
  • Travel with the young people, using our company car, to various destinations, including education and leisure activities.
  • Complete care planning and task sheets, ensuring that each young person's needs are met.
  • Prepare meals and maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Organise and facilitate social activities, promoting a sense of community and belonging among the young people.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders and our multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and support.
Requirements
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • 12 months' experience working in a residential setting, desirable.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary, including an additional £30.00 sleep-in rate.
  • A £500 sign-up bonus, with terms and conditions applying.
  • A £1000 refer-a-friend bonus, paid in two instalments.
  • Time and a half for overtime, after 173 hours.
  • Uncapped sleep-in allowance.
  • Disturbance pay for sleep-ins.
  • Mileage allowance.
  • Three free meals a day while working, same as provided for family meals.
  • A shift pattern of 16-24 hours, including sleep-ins, on a one-on-two-off or two-on-four-off basis.
  • Bespoke training and clinical supervision from our team of clinicians.
  • Diplomas ranging from Level 2-5.
  • A management development program with a proven success rate.
