About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Team Leader to join our Children's Residential Team. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and care to each young person, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Encourage and support young people in their daily routines, including getting ready for education and activities.
  • Travel with the young people, using our company car, to various destinations, including education and leisure activities.
  • Complete care planning and task sheets, ensuring that each young person's needs are met.
  • Prepare meals and maintain the home, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all.
  • Organise and facilitate social activities, promoting social skills and relationships.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders and our multi-disciplinary team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • 12 months' experience working in a residential setting, desirable.
