About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Team Leader to join our Children's Residential Team. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and care to each young person, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Encourage and support young people in their daily routines, including getting ready for education and activities.
  • Travel with the young people, using company-provided transportation, to ensure their safe and timely arrival at educational and extracurricular activities.
  • Complete care planning and task sheets to ensure the smooth operation of the residential setting.
  • Prepare and serve meals, maintaining a clean and safe environment for the young people.
  • Organize and facilitate social activities, promoting a sense of community and belonging among the young people.
  • Maintain the home environment, including cleaning, laundry, and home management tasks.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including schools and healthcare professionals, to ensure the young people receive the best possible support.
Requirements
  • A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent is required.
  • 12 months of experience working in a residential setting is desirable.
