We are seeking a Disability Technology Specialist to join our team at Brook Street. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing training and support on assistive technology devices and software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with individuals with disabilities to understand their unique needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with a wide range of assistive technology devices, including speech-generating devices, communication aids, and adaptive software.
  • Analyse user needs and develop individualized training plans to ensure effective use of assistive technology.
  • Work independently to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities and understanding their unique needs.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with a wide range of assistive technology devices.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Windows and/or Mac experience.
Benefits
  • £28,000 - £31,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
  • 28 days annual leave (including birthdays).
