About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and caring Bank Healthcare Assistants to join our team at Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, supporting Student Nurses currently studying a Degree in Nursing at University.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist registered nurses and other HCAs in the delivery of direct care to patients within the ward.
  • Support patients with all aspects of their personal hygiene care, including washing, bathing, dressing, continence, and mouth care.
  • Assist with mobility, including hoisting, positioning, and supporting patients with mobility aids.
  • Support patients with eating and drinking tasks, including the use of adapted feeding equipment.
  • Provide proficient communication with patients and others in challenging situations.
  • Maintain accurate written documentation in patient notes.
  • Support patients to pursue social and leisure activities.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate an awareness of RHN's objectives and contribute to achieving them appropriately.
  • Strive to improve efficiency in all areas of your work.
