Job Title: Healthcare Assistant Level 2/3 - Brain Injury ServiceDepartment: Brain Injury Services

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Healthcare Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team working closely with our Brain Injury patients during their rehabilitation journey. As a key member of our team, you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients with complex neurological needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to patients, including personal hygiene, mobility, and eating and drinking tasks.
  • Assist registered nurses and other HCAs in the delivery of direct care to patients.
  • Work within agreed nursing standards and under the direction of the registered nurse or NVQ healthcare assistant.
  • Participate fully in a 24 hour, 7 day week staff roster, including working Bank Holidays, as required by the needs of the service.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a health or social care support role.
  • Qualification to GCSE or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A good command of both written and spoken English.
