Data Director

Aimée Willow Connex seeks a highly skilled Data Director to oversee the efficient processing and management of financial data. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Data Processing: Ensure that all collections are accurately input onto the debtor accounts daily via the operating system.
  • Remittance Management: Verify that correct remittances have been received and saved to the database.
  • Cash Receipts: Ensure that all cheque receipts are paid into the designated bank account daily.
  • Suspense Account Management: Regularly review the suspense account and liaise with Credit Controllers, debtors, and the Client to obtain allocation details to minimize the account balance.
  • Email Notifications: Send daily email notifications to the operations team with details of any unidentified and unallocated receipts from the previous day.
  • Card Payments: Take card payments over the phone and log accordingly.
Reconciliation and Sales Ledger Management:
  • Daily Reconciliation: Complete the daily reconciliation of cash receipts to the bank statements (All bank accounts).
  • C3 Cash Receipts: Complete the daily reconciliation of all C3 cash receipt/collection transactions/postings to the bank and funding facility.
  • Sales Ledger Updates: Ensure that when remittances are received, details and follow-up dates are entered onto the customer ledger on the operating system along with verification notes.
Accounts and Reporting:
  • End-of-Day Report: Create an end-of-day report providing an overview of the position of each facility (Funding, ABL, Trade, Construction) from the previous day.
  • Card Payment Transfers: Transfer card payments received from debtors to our NatWest account.
  • Client Payment Imports: Import client payments into Sage using Microsoft Excel.
  • Training and Development: Identify any training requirements and review weekly training with new starters in preparation for their probation meeting.
  • Annual Reviews: Assist with Annual reviews as needed.
