Job Title: Service Advisor HGV

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join our Commercial Service Team at Hunter Knight Recruitment Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HGV and customer service, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customer needs are met in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Work closely with the workshop team to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard and on time.
  • Manage work in progress, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on vehicle progress and ensure that all work is completed to their satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to promote additional workshop services and repairs, ensuring that the customer receives the best possible service.
  • Ensure that all parts are ordered and requisitioned in a timely manner, ensuring that the workshop has the necessary resources to complete all tasks.
  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring that all payments are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with all staff and customers, ensuring that the company's reputation is maintained at the highest level.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle history and service records, ensuring that all customer requirements are met.
  • Ensure that all invoicing is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proactive approach to work, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures.
