Role Overview:

The Spencer Clarke Group is recruiting a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join their team as a permanent employee.

This role will involve providing clinical support across specialist schools and children's homes for young people with complex needs, working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to create therapeutic living and learning environments.

About the Position:

This position requires a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC, with experience in delivering therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting clinical assessments and formulating individualised interventions for young people.
  • Collaborating with teams to ensure therapeutic support is integrated into all aspects of education, care, and support.
  • Offering consultation, workshops, training, and guidance to educational and residential teams.

Key Requirements:

  • A valid HCPC registration.
  • Experience in delivering therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex needs.

Working Environment:

The successful candidate will work in an independent specialist day school that meets the needs of pupils with autism and additional needs such as ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory issues, and associated behavioural difficulties.

Location: Sutton, Surrey. Estimated salary range: £41,983 - £49,717 (inclusive of paid school holidays).
