Senior Therapeutic Support Specialist

PACT, a leading UK adoption agency, is seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join its therapeutic support services for children and their carers/parents in Berkshire, London, and Sussex.
As a Senior Therapeutic Support Specialist, you will work with adoptive families, undertaking assessments of therapeutic need and providing direct support. With previous experience working with adoptive children and families, you will be able to understand the complexities of early trauma and neglect and develop effective therapeutic strategies.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a service rated as excellent by Ofsted and make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake assessments of therapeutic need for applications to the Adoption Support Fund
- Provide direct therapeutic support to adoptive families
- Develop and implement effective therapeutic strategies to address early trauma and neglect
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
- Experience working with adoptive children and families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits:
