Job Title: Older Prisoner Co-Ordinator

Red Snapper Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Older Prisoner Co-Ordinator at HMP Ashfield in Bristol. This part-time, permanent position involves coordinating meaningful activities for the older population resident in the prison, providing high-quality support, advice, and intervention to ensure their needs are met.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a timetable of events to promote positive health and wellbeing among older prisoners.
  • Identify and provide support, information, and advice to older prisoners related to pathways to reducing re-offending.
  • Engage with other departments to draw on additional support and resources.
  • Collect and analyze monitoring and evaluation information to inform service delivery.
  • Work within the contract, policies, procedures, and budgets set by the organization's Management Team and Board.

This role requires a strong understanding of the needs of older adults and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to provide holistic support.
