Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Highway Control Systems Specialist to join our team in Newport, Isle of Wight. As a key member of our Highways Development Control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the statutory duties of the Local Highway Authority are fulfilled by providing timely responses to consultations and technical submissions.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Local Planning Authority and third-party consultations within specified timeframes.
  • Assess technical submissions and provide recommendations.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in Planning or Engineering and experience in Highways or Planning Development Control, Highway Design, or a related field. You should also possess excellent communication and technical skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, Autocad, and the ability to work in high-pressure environments.

What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes pension scheme, life assurance, and other perks.
