Commercial Account Handler / Placing Broker

As a business, our client is a leading insurance intermediary, dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes to clients, insurers, and investors. Their culture is built on integrity, pride, and a customer-centric approach.

This role is designed to support the broking network members' risks by placing them in the market and securing the best terms and coverage. The successful candidate will also handle documentation queries and provide excellent support to network members.

The day-to-day responsibilities:

  1. Assisting with renewals, new business quotations, and delivering outstanding service to clients.
  2. Developing relationships with network members to ensure new business enquiries are effectively managed and placed.
  3. Collaborating with the regional management team to achieve business objectives and support the growth of colleagues.

What we offer:

A competitive basic salary, bonus structure (circa £38-45k), and a comprehensive benefits package, including pension, death in service, and paid parking (circa £973 a year). Our client is committed to supporting professional development, offering fully funded qualifications post-probation. They also provide a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for 2-3 days of remote work per week.
