We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Special Education Support Professional to join our team in a lovely North Nottinghamshire school. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced individual to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with challenging behaviour.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in education, psychology, or a related field, and previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students are essential qualities for this position.

As a Special Education Support Professional, you will work closely with classroom teachers and special education professionals to support students with challenging behaviour. You will implement behaviour intervention plans and strategies to address individual student needs, provide one-on-one or small-group support, and foster a safe and respectful classroom environment.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and training in behaviour support techniques. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our students.
