About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Business Development Director. You will be responsible for spearheading the business development initiatives to forge new biologics contract manufacturing partnerships worldwide.
ResponsibilitiesYour duties will include:
- Leading the development and execution of the Biopharmaceutical CDMO growth plan to meet annual sales targets.
- Building and maintaining a robust opportunity pipeline through strategic business development and marketing activities.
- Overseeing and expanding the Business Development team, ensuring alignment with the company's growth objectives.
- Engaging with prospective customers and partners, enhancing brand recognition and fostering strong relationships in the market.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree qualification in a Scientific or Business related discipline.
- Extensive commercial experience within a BioPharma CMO/CDMO environment and a deep understanding of the industry.
- A proven track record in securing significant contract manufacturing business and delivering successful projects.
