Pain Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Non-Acute Pain and Anaesthesia to join our team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and service to our patients, while contributing to the development of our Pain services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain high clinical standards in patient management
- Participate in the smooth running of Acute and Chronic Pain services
- Contribute to teaching, audit, management, and clinical governance
- Ensure active participation in continuing professional development (CPD)
We are looking for a candidate with:
- MB ChB/BS or EEA equivalent
- FRCA or other appropriate equivalent
- Eligible for CCT in Anaesthesia
- Pain Qualification
- Ability to take responsibility, show leadership, make decisions, exert appropriate authority
- Experience of working in a team and developing service improvement strategies
- Experience of teaching and training undergraduates/postgraduates and junior medical staff
- Understanding of principles of clinical audit
- Committed to monitoring and improving clinical quality
- Committed to building a clinical practice that is evidence-based
