Customer Service Team Lead

Chase & Holland is working with a global manufacturing and distribution business in the Sheffield area to find a skilled Customer Service Supervisor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the customer service team and be responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating team members.
- Ensure consistency in the team regarding backup, staffing levels, and succession planning.
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with customer service principles and practices.
- Support the development of sales, customer relationship, customer retention, production, operations, and related business strategies.
- Manage the development, analysis, and review of operational reports to improve service.
- Oversee and manage customer service and account management issues with other departments.
- Manage order input and handling process for a defined customer base within company systems.
- Manage customer complaints associated with orders, deliveries, returns, and coordinate internal fast resolution.
- A second language is ideal for this role.
- Proven customer service experience within a similar role with proven leadership experience.
- Experience and knowledge of processing export orders.
- Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively within a team and build customer relationships.
- IT literate and adaptable to new software/systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Sage, etc.
