About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Mountjoy, providing professional and high-quality construction, refurbishment, and facilities management services across the south of England.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake responsive and routine repairs and void repairs to Portsmouth City Council's Housing and Corporate Assets stock, and from time-to-time support other maintenance contracts as required.
- Work in various property types, including Social Housing, Schools, Public Conveniences, Offices, Heritage, and Museums, ensuring a high-quality standard of workmanship, health & safety, and compliance to the Company's processes and procedures.
- Use your skills, knowledge, experience, and training to carry out the 'right work at the right time,' delivering a high-quality standard of workmanship, health & safety, and compliance to the Company's processes and procedures.
Requirements
- NVQ level 2-3 in carpentry or equivalent.
- Experience of working in Social Housing or Building Maintenance environment preferred.
- A full, clean current driving licence is needed to drive one of our vans.
