Plumber Role Overview

Mtjoy is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team in Portsmouth. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for undertaking responsive and routine repairs and void repairs to Portsmouth City Council's Housing and Corporate Assets stock.

You will work in all of PCC's property portfolio, including Social Housing, Schools, Public Conveniences, Offices, Heritage, and Museums. The key activities you will undertake in this role include a wide variety of plumbing repairs in occupied homes, buildings, and empty properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bathroom installations, first and second fixing, emergency water escape repairs, drainage, shower pump replacements, ceramic wall tiling, and non-licenced asbestos removal.
  • Undertake responsive and routine repairs and void repairs to Portsmouth City Council's Housing and Corporate Assets stock.

Requirements

  • NVQ level 2-3 in plumbing or equivalent.
  • Trade-based experience may be considered.
  • 2 – 5 years experience of working in Social Housing or Building Maintenance environment.
