Carpenter/Plumber Portsmouth City Council Position

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Plumber to join our team at Mountjoy, providing professional construction, refurbishment, and facilities management services across the south of England.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake a wide variety of carpentry and plumbing repairs in occupied homes, buildings, and empty properties.
- Fitting of various types of doors, first and second fixing, kitchen installations, repairing minor leaks, replacing sanitary wear, ceramic wall tiling, vinyl floor tiling, and non-licensed asbestos removal.
- Work in all of Portsmouth City Council's property portfolio, including Social Housing, Schools, Public Conveniences, Offices, Heritage, and Museums.
- NVQ level 2-3 in carpentry/plumbing or equivalent.
- Trade-based experience may be considered.
- 2 – 5 years' experience of working in Social Housing or Building Maintenance environment.
- A full, clean current driving license is needed to drive one of our vans.
- 31 days annual leave rising to 36 days with length of service (including bank holidays).
