Job Title: Regional Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Facilities Manager to join our team at FI Real Estate Management Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management: Provide local support to our property management team, acting as the primary interface between tenants for facilities services, ensuring business continuity and tenant satisfaction.
  • Service Delivery & Contract Management: Manage site, infrastructure, and facilities services, including supplier and contractor management, daily control of outsourced contracts, and coordination of on-site external suppliers.
  • Budget Management: Ensure all requests are budgeted and costed according to the overall budget plan, highlighting non-conformance to the work plan in a timely manner.
  • Project Management: Undertake projects within your field of responsibility, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and customer satisfaction.
  • Business Continuity: Maintain the security of our company's investments in buildings, infrastructure, and services, conducting maintenance, repair, and Health and Safety policies in accordance with legislation and defined requirements.
  • Office Services: Manage office services, including reception, meeting, and video conferencing facilities, catering, vending, security, and cleaning services, presenting an acceptable image to our customers and visitors.
  • Emergency Procedures: Maintain fire alarm, firefighting, and emergency lighting systems in operational condition, controlling emergency evacuation procedures for the building.
  • Emergency Call Out: Provide and manage an On-Call facility for out-of-hours responses to emergency situations.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure all sites comply with statutory regulations, inspections, Codes of Practice, COSHH, and relevant Health and Safety legislation and policies, undertaking Risk Assessments and taking necessary action to minimize risk to customers.
  • Building & Engineering Maintenance: Liaise with external contractors regarding building maintenance, coordinating and managing maintenance and repair services, ensuring preventive maintenance schedules are introduced and met.
  • Asset Management: Maintain the Property and Equipment asset register, ensuring updates during project handovers.
  • People Management: Ensure direct reports are aware of, understand, and support departmental and company objectives, controlling performance, motivation, team building, career, and personal development.
  • Reports and Communication: Provide written and verbal reports as required, controlling accurate and comprehensive administrative records and Building File contents.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' direct facilities management responsibility in the control of both 'hard' and 'soft' service provision.
  • A minimum of 3 years people supervisory experience.
  • Working knowledge of M&E systems/installations, including HVAC, electrical distribution, and generation, UPS, comms room, fire detection/protection, and other engineering systems.
  • Knowledge of building construction and project management techniques.
  • NEBOSH Health & Safety General Certification or similar.
  • FM-related qualification beneficial (IWFM).
