We are seeking a dedicated Regional Support Manager to become a vital part of our enthusiastic and committed team at Migrant Help.
The primary focus of this role is to collaborate with the Asylum Services team, which operates under the AIRE contract, to deliver a professional service that encompasses providing guidance and assistance in completing support applications.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing and mentoring the Client Advisers within the Regional Team, promoting training, coaching, and overall team management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring daily operational management of the Client Adviser team under the supervision of the Regional Manager, which includes monitoring communications, allocating requests, planning workloads, tracking absences, and ensuring that scheduled duties are fulfilled.
- Conducting line management for client advisers, which involves supporting recruitment and onboarding of new personnel, employee development, performance evaluations, and addressing disciplinary matters.
- Acting as the first point of contact for Client Advisers on intricate cases, ensuring that urgent requests and safeguarding concerns are addressed promptly.
- Providing outreach and in-person support for clients with additional needs, as directed by the Regional Manager or Head of Service.
- Facilitating team meetings and daily briefings to keep team members informed about service delivery matters, including policy and legislative updates.
- Serving as a liaison with the Home Office, Social Services, Healthcare Professionals, and other relevant organizations for clients requiring additional support.
- Demonstrating proficiency in a supervisory role with a focus on people management.
- Possessing operational experience in meeting challenging performance indicators.
This service operates outside of standard hours, and there will be a requirement to participate in a rota for out-of-hours work.
Additional considerations include:
- Flexibility to travel as needed for the role.
- Weekend work will be required on a rota basis.
